Last season, George Pickens did slightly better than CeeDee Lamb on the field, but the duo now forms the backbone of the Cowboys' receiving unit. However, who is the more dangerous playmaker? PFN's Top 100 Players list offers a shocking answer.

According to PFN's latest Top 100 Players list, CeeDee Lamb is ranked No. 28 overall and is the seventh-ranked wide receiver in the league.

“He missed three games due to injury in 2025, but he still finished No. 11 in the league with 1,077 receiving yards. More notably, though, his 76.9 receiving yards per game ranked sixth in the league,” the PFN report says.

Since his debut back in 2020, Lamb has been one of the most reliable receivers in the league, which is why the Cowboys never let him go to another team.

He has surpassed 1,000 receiving yards in five of his six seasons while racking up 7,416 receiving yards and 41 touchdowns.

“Lamb has finished no lower than eighth in the NFL in receiving yards per game in each of his last four seasons with the Cowboys. His 78.3 WR Impact Score in 2025 was his lowest since the aforementioned 2020 rookie year, but his finish as the No. 2 wide receiver in our database in 2023 helps propel him into the top 30 this year,” stated the PFN report.

Last season was a rollercoaster ride for Lamb, as he missed time due to injuries. This led to him featuring in fewer than 15 games for the first time in his NFL career.

Although he didn't come close to Pickens' numbers, he still finished ahead of him in the rankings. So, where does Pickens rank? Let’s have a look.

George Pickens gains ground but still ranks below Ceedee Lamb

Last season, George Pickens put together the best campaign of his career, finishing third in the NFL with 1,429 receiving yards while hauling in 93 catches and nine touchdowns.

His breakout season earned him Pro Bowl honors and second-team All-Pro recognition.

PFN's Top 100 Players list ranked him No. 70 overall and ninth among wide receivers, placing him well below CeeDee Lamb despite his outstanding season.

“This ranking comes with some trepidation, as Pickens never finished higher than No. 20 in our WR Impact Scoring in a single season before placing third in 2025. That said, he’s a gifted receiver with a large catch radius, tremendous ball skills, and a Dallas offense that looks to be a perfect fit for his skill set,” said the PFN report.

This season will be crucial for Pickens after the Dallas Cowboys placed the franchise tag on him instead of offering a long-term extension this offseason.

If he matches last year's production, he could be in line for a blockbuster contract.
