CeeDee Lamb has dealt with largely unreported injuries as a Dallas Cowboys wide receiver for the last two years. This week, when an ESPN analyst revealed what Lamb told him, the admission could reshape the Cowboys' entire 2026 outlook.
ESPN analyst Ryan Clark was a guest on The Mina Kimes Show and said, in regard to the 2026 season, this is what Lamb said to him.
"I actually saw him this week, and he's like, 'Man, I haven't felt this good or this healthy in two years," Clark said on The Mina Kimes Show on July 7.

That admission changes everything about Lamb's 2025 season, as he missed three entire games and left three others early due to an ankle injury and a concussion.
In December, he sustained a head cranial concussion in the third quarter of Week 14. But Lamb feels confident this offseason.
"That's great in the offseason, and so I look, I think that team can be really, really competitive," Clark added in the same podcast.
Even while dealing with injuries, Lamb managed 1,077 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He also missed three games and was forced out early in three others. George Pickens, meanwhile, posted career-best totals of 1,429 yards and nine touchdowns.
The two receivers didn't limit each other's production last year, and the numbers show they won't do so in 2026.
The Cowboys led the NFL in passing yards even with a battling Lamb last season. A fully healthy Lamb changes the equation. The analysts view this combination in an even more intriguing way.
CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens ranked among the NFL's best receiver duos
Dallas wide receivers Lamb and Pickens enter 2026 as two of the most discussed wide receiver pairs in football. Tommy Yarrish and Patrik Walker of DallasCowboys.com commented on where they have ranked among the best wide receiver duos in the NFL.
Yarrish placed them in the top three.
"I'll say top three. Personally, I think the Rams' duo of Davante Adams and Puka Nacua is the best, followed by Lamb and Pickens....I don't think Lamb and Pickens are that far behind," Yarrish wrote, via DallasCowboys.com, July 6, 2026.
Walker went a step further and said that the two shouldn’t even be referred to as a WR1 and WR2 grouping.
"Lamb and Pickens are not WR1 and WR2. They are two true WR1s," Walker wrote, placing them above Chase and Higgins and squarely at No. 2 in the league.
In six NFL seasons, Lamb has compiled over 7,000 receiving yards, earned three All-Pro honors, led the league in receptions once, and is just 29 receptions away from the 600-catch mark.
