Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson has started a new chapter. He married influencer and model Haley Cavinder in a small and private ceremony, with fans and NFL circles sending in congratulations. 

Ferguson and Cavinder are officially married after tying the knot on June 20 in an intimate ceremony at the Biltmore Hotel in Miami, attended by close family and friends.

“We are so excited to finally be married and celebrate this next chapter of our lives together,” the couple said to PEOPLE exclusively. “Having all of our family and friends in Miami to share this weekend with us makes it even more special.” 

The couple shared “Mr & Mrs” in a post on June 22 on Instagram, officially announcing their marriage and drawing immediate attention. 

The relationship between Ferguson and Cavinder has gained attention because both are well-known athletes.

Cavinder is known for her college basketball career at Fresno State Bulldogs, Miami Hurricanes, and TCU Horned Frogs, while Ferguson is a rising tight end for the Cowboys. 

The couple began dating in September 2023 and announced their engagement on April 18, 2025. 

The wedding had personal touches along with luxury details, making the celebration feel special and close to the couple.

Cavinder wore a custom Galia Lahav gown, while Ferguson’s former Cowboys teammate Will Grier officiated the ceremony. 

The couple entered to “Fergalicious” and shared their first dance to Brad Paisley’s “Then,” blending fun and emotion. Ferguson also gifted groomsmen golf putters and Rolex watches as part of the celebration. 

The wedding has received positive reactions from fans, with congratulations pouring in across NFL and social media circles, as the couple now remains one of the most talked-about young pairs in the league.

Speaking to GQ in an exclusive wedding feature, Cavinder and Ferguson said they worked together on planning the big day and avoided being overly focused on any single detail. And fans liked the simplicity.

Cavinder revealed that she had started selecting a wedding dress back in July 2025 and the fans honored her big day. “perfect,” another comment followed.

“Congratulations, gorgeous! What an honor to have worked with you on your gowns 🤍🥹✨” a close connection shared, showing personal love and care for the couple on their big day.

The couple has been open about cheering each other on in their careers, and seeing them tie the knot made fans happy. “Congratulations 🎊 👏 💐 🥳 🎊 you guys look amazing together ❤️” added one more supporter.

Ferguson and Cavinder continue to attract attention across the NFL and fan circles, with their wedding also getting coverage from sports and entertainment media outlets.
