Cowboys fans fed Maxx Crosby hopes in exchange for George Pickens

George Pickens has become the center of a new trade idea that could help bring Maxx Crosby to Dallas, with the proposed move giving Cowboys fans fresh hope of landing the Raiders star.

The trade idea suggests George Pickens could be the key player in a move that helps the Cowboys land Maxx Crosby from the Raiders. In the same proposal, Dallas is also expected to bring in Calvin Ridley, making the overall deal even bigger.

"I wouldn't expect Crosby trade talk to heat up again until he gets on a field and shows he's healthy," ESPN’s Dan Graziano wrote. "And from everything I've been told, that could be in August or later."

ESPN insider Dan Graziano made this statement in his ESPN report on early trade deadline candidates to move.

The Raiders had planned to trade Maxx Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens earlier, but the deal fell through after he failed his physical due to concerns about his knee surgery.

At the moment, there are no active trade talks around him, but other teams are still watching his situation. However, his contract with the Las Vegas Raiders lasts until 2029.

According to ESPN’s Ryan McFadden, the Dallas Cowboys have made three separate offers for Maxx Crosby, but the Raiders have not accepted any of them.

Crosby played an important role for the Raiders in 2025, finishing with 10 sacks, 73 total tackles, and 6 pass deflections, and had a strong season overall. His presence could certainly help the Cowboys as they look to fill the void left by Micah Parsons.

On the other hand, Steelers WR George Pickens had a standout 2025 season, finishing with 93 receptions for 1,429 yards and 9 touchdowns, making him a valuable trade asset in the proposed deal.

Both George Pickens and Maxx Crosby had strong 2025 seasons, which is why this trade idea is gaining attention.

The proposal is still only a suggestion, but it has already created excitement among Cowboys fans about a possible big move in the future.

This situation has also shifted attention toward Maxx Crosby’s recent social media activity.

Crosby's social media post raises discussion

A cryptic post from Maxx Crosby on X has brought trade talk into focus, even though the Raiders have not shown any plan to move him.

“STOP PEOPLE PLEASING,” he posted. “HANDLE BUSINESS ACCORDINGLY.”

He posted it on Saturday night, and the message quickly drew attention online as fans reacted and suggested it might show frustration.

According to Bleacher Report’s Paul Kasabian, it has added more attention to Crosby’s situation, which has already seen trade rumours in the past.

The Raiders still have no public plans to trade him, but the post has brought his future back into discussion.

No official move has happened yet, but the idea still keeps fans talking about a possible big addition for Dallas. For now, it remains just a proposal with no clear direction.
