Cowboys Legend Makes Bold Dak Prescott Prediction After QB's Failed Relationship

Retired NFL legend Michael Irvin is worried about Dak Prescott's 2026 season with the Dallas Cowboys.
During a live Q&A session with fans on his YouTube channel, the three-time Super Bowl-winning Cowboys legend veered into the topic of Prescott while talking about the offense.
“We all know Dak Prescott playing with a heavy heart or heavy pockets, you know, cause the wedding got broken off.”
Dak Prescott has been in the news recently about his marriage with ex-fiancée Sarah Jane Ramos being called off a month before it was scheduled to take place.
Irvin also added how this could affect Prescott and players in general. He added, “You know, one of two things happens when you go through stuff like this. You either just zero in or zero out.”
Though the Cowboys had an abysmal 2025 season, going 7-9-1, the star quarterback had quite a successful campaign. Prescott played 17 games and threw the football 600 times, and connected on 404 of those attempts.
The legendary wide receiver backs Dak Prescott to do well in the upcoming season and to use this as fuel to go on and win more games, maybe even a championship.
Irvin added, “And that I believe [Prescott] will zero in and try to, you know, deal with the pain of it and stain of it by going and winning some games in it and win a championship.”
Prescott has been in the news for some time now. His separation from Sarah Jane Ramos unfolded after TMZ got hold of the email calling off their wedding.
How Did Irvin React to Prescott Calling Off the Wedding?
Prescott and Irvin share a close relationship, and the former wide receiver made sure he showed his support to the QB.
Michael Irvin made a post on X (formerly Twitter) on March 10 and captioned it, “Praying for my guy @Dak and his beautiful family.”
TMZ first broke the news, and slowly it started making the rounds on social media. The former pair called off the wedding and even sent out an email, which TMZ also obtained.
The email read, “As many of you know, our wedding is currently scheduled to take place in Lake Como, Italy, on Friday, April 10, 2026. It is with heavy hearts that we privately inform our attendees that we have made the very difficult decision to cancel our wedding.”
The email further said, “We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, and we welcome your prayers.”
