The NFL world was taken by shock when Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and his ex-fiancée Sarah Jane Ramos called off their wedding in March. After their separation, Prescott and Ramos were likely to go to court for their kids' custody. But looks like they have changed the plans.
Prescott and Ramos have reportedly agreed to postpone the court appearance to keep the proceedings private. They are trying to settle the custody issues amicably.
As reported by Page Six, the Cowboys quarterback filed a Suit Affecting the Parent-Child Relationship on March 17 in Collin County. The filing called for Prescott and Ramos to be named joint managing conservators of their daughters, Margaret Jane Rose, age 2, and Aurora Rayne, 10 months old.
“The hearing Dak Prescott set for temporary relief last week was mutually postponed for the parents to attempt to address their and their children’s lives," Ramos' attorney Raymond Rafool said to the PEOPLE.

According to the sources, the filing initially set up a court hearing for April 2. But the date has now been postponed as Prescott and Jones are now given time to reach a temporary arrangement by themselves. In case they fail to come to a conclusion, the matter returns to court on April 16.
Ramos' attorney also added that his client is in full support of this decision.
"Sarah Jane is happy with this approach and believes it is in the children's best interest," Rafool said
According to Prescott's attorney, Levi G. McCathern II, the Cowboys quarterback is committed "to develop a healthy co-parent relationship," highlighting focus on the best interest of the children. He also mentioned how Prescott "is an absolutely phenomenal father."
The former couple is now moving forward without any bitterness.
Post-Split Updates On Dak Prescott and Sarah Jane Ramos
Despite a challenging period, Prescott and Ramos are moving forward by prioritizing their children while focusing on their own paths. The mother of two updated her social media handle by sharing heartwarming pictures with her kids during Easter.
After a few weeks of the split, Prescott's ex-partner focused on self-growth.
"Growth in all forms," wrote Ramos, posting on her Instagram story with a gym selfie with her friend.
She also posted pictures of her daughter, MJ, playing with toys, on her Instagram story, highlighting her focus on motherhood and her personal well-being.
On the other hand, Prescott was seen putting in extra work with teammate Jake Ferguson, aiming to refocus after a tumultuous patch in his personal life.
With fans wondering whether Dak Prescott's performance may be affected, the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys was confident in Prescott.
“He’s in a really good spot, obviously with what he’s dealing with is incredibly tough. But if anyone can handle it, he can,” Mike McCarthy said.
