On March 7, TMZ reported that Dallas Cowboys star Dak Prescott and his fiancée, Sarah Jane Ramos, had broken things off one month before their wedding. Now, Ramos has put an end to one of the theories making the rounds on social media.
The pair was planning a wedding, and it was supposed to take place next month in Italy. However, since they called it off, there's been a lot of talk about why they split.
While the couple has kept things under wraps, Sarah Jane cleared the air regarding the legal angle on the Speakeasy's page. “This had nothing to do with a prenup. I hope we can put that rumor to rest now,” read a comment the podcast's official X handle shared.
There were rumors that Sarah Jane declined to sign a prenup after the star QB signed a $240 million deal with the Cowboys, and that's something that didn't sit well with Ramos.
TMZ reported that the couple's relationship had been "rocky." Things came to a boiling point at their joint bachelor and bachelorette party in the Bahamas.
Dak Prescott and Sarah Jane had been dating since 2023. The pair got engaged in 2024. The pair also has two daughters, two-year-old Margaret Jane "MJ" Rose Prescott and 9-month-old Aurora Rayne Prescott.
Dak Prescott and Sarah Jane Ramos' reported apology to guests
On March 9, TMZ also reported getting their hands on an email that the former couple sent out announcing the wedding had been called off and apologizing for it.
The email reportedly read, “As many of you know, our wedding is currently scheduled to take place in Lake Como, Italy, on Friday, April 10, 2026. It is with heavy hearts that we privately inform our attendees that we have made the very difficult decision to cancel our wedding.”
“We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, and we welcome your prayers,” TMZ added.
There is still no exact confirmation as to why the pair has split. However, Ramos has cleared the air on what didn't cause the split.
