Deion Sanders makes playful statement after being ignored by grandson

Deion Sanders has two Super Bowl rings. He’s a Hall of Famer. He’s the head of Colorado football. But his one-year-old grandson doesn’t care about any of that. In a new Instagram video, Coach Prime leans in, trying to get Snow's attention and gets totally ignored for a tablet.

Sanders posted the video again and added his own caption.

"He don't care about nobody," Sanders said, posted via @deionsanders on Instagram.

Snow was born in August 2024, and Sanders was happy to welcome him. Coach Prime's first grandkid is a little more special because, for now, as per Sanders' Instagram post, Snow has zero interest in him.

Deion Sanders Jr. posted another clip of Coach Prime trying to get Snow to catch a football, but since he ignored his Grandpa, Sanders Jr. said Snow was "going into the portal."

Sanders' joke referenced his grandson going to the college transfer portal.

Both situations show that Coach Prime cares and has a lot of emotion, and this passion is on display even when he talks about his Colorado team.

Sanders sends heartfelt message to Colorado players

As Colorado gets closer to the start of fall camp, Deion Sanders took to X to explain his thoughts to his players.

"Lord Jesus, I miss my kids! I'm talking about my Team," Sanders wrote on X on July 14, 2026.

In the same post, he went on to tag the team account directly.

"Fellows, I can't wait to see y'all at camp. That's the 1st week it's gonna be ON! #CoachPrime Check in with an Amen," he wrote.

After finishing off a disappointing 3-9 season, Colorado is hoping to do better after revamping the roster via the transfer portal, promoting Chris Marve to the DC position, and bringing in talent to reshape the offense, including Brennan Mario.

Just a year ago, the Buffaloes did a lot better with a 9-4 overall record.

Training camp begins on July 27. With the season starting on September 3 at Georgia Tech, people are eagerly waiting to see what Sanders will bring out in his team.
