Former NFL defensive end and sportscaster Marcellus Wiley, who was arrested on July 4 on a charge of domestic b****** by the Orange County Sheriff's Office in Florida, was released from custody.
Wiley was arrested on Sunday morning and was held in custody without bond. According to the Public Information Office of Orange County, he was later released on Sunday night, July 4, at 8:43 p.m. ET after submitting a cash bond of $1,000.
"The alleged victim is Wiley’s wife," Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reported. "She asked deputies to 'remove her husband from their shared hotel room due to her being afraid of him.'"

Wiley's wife, Annemarie Wiley, who appeared in Season 13 of the reality TV show, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, called police to report the incident after an "alleged altercation" in the hotel room at World Marriott in Orlando.
According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, the arrest affidavit revealed that the deputies responded at 4:47 p.m. ET on July 4.
Annemarie revealed that Wiley had an "unreported history of violence" towards her in the past and was planning to divorce him when they returned home to California, per PFT.
"The deputies concluded that Wiley 'did intentionally touch [his wife] against her will,' and that probable cause exists to charge [Wiley] with b******," Florio added.
He was arrested under suspicion of causing bodily harm or unwanted physical contact with a family or household member, and the deputy who prepared the affidavit noticed "no visible injuries" on Annemarie.
The current arrest adds another chapter to a difficult year for Wiley, dealing with legal issues, with further developments expected as the legal proceedings continue.
Marcellus Wiley's football career lasted 10 years
Before his legal troubles, Wiley had a decade-long career in the league, and subsequently worked as a television sports analyst and podcaster.
He played for four teams across 10 years, from 1997 to 2006, being selected as the 52nd overall pick by the Buffalo Bills in the 1997 NFL Draft.
Wiley posted a total of 322 tackles (240 solo), 44 sacks, and 17 passes defended across 147 games playing for the Bills, San Diego Chargers, Dallas Cowboys, and Jacksonville Jaguars.
He earned Pro Bowl and Second-team All-Pro honors during his stint with the Chargers in 2001. He retired after the 2006 season and worked as a sportscaster, notably as a co-host for ESPN's SportsNation and FS1's Speak For Yourself.
