Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens paid tribute to former teammate and ex-Buffalo Bills cornerback Levi Wallace after the veteran CB announced his retirement from the NFL on July 17.
Pickens commented on Wallace’s Instagram post with three ninja emojis and a water polo emoji before reposting Wallace’s tribute video on his Instagram story.
"🥷🏾🥷🏾🥷🏾🤽🏿♂️," Pickens commented on Wallace's post.
Wallace announced his retirement at the age of 31 after playing for seven seasons in the league. He played his last season with the Denver Broncos in 2024.
“Walk-on,” Wallace’s Instagram post caption read. “Undrafted. 8 years. Retired. Not bad.”

Wideout Pickens and CB Levi Wallace had played two seasons together (2022 and 2023) during their stint with the Steelers, after which Pickens was traded to the Cowboys before the 2025 season.
Wallace hung up his cleats with 333 tackles (256 solo), seven tackles for loss, 56 passes defended, and 12 interceptions in 96 games (72 starts) across seven seasons.
He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Buffalo Bills in 2018, where he started all 52 regular-season games he played across four seasons.
According to Preme Football’s X post, Wallace’s 12 interceptions and 56 passes defended rank him 4th and 6th, respectively, among undrafted cornerbacks entering the league since 2018.
Wallace’s last game with the Bills ended disappointingly as he allowed five receptions for 130 yards and a touchdown during the 2021 divisional round against the Kansas City Chiefs.
He surrendered a 64-yard touchdown to former Chiefs wideout Tyreek Hill that gave the Chiefs a 33-29 lead with 13 seconds remaining during that game, according to Alex Brasky of Sports Illustrated.
Now, with his playing days officially behind him, Wallace is set to begin the next phase of his career as a player agent.
Levi Wallace transitions from player to player representation
Former Bills CB Wallace is expected to transition into a corporate role as an NFL player agent post-retirement. Though he signed with the Jaguars in August 2025, he was later released that month.
"Ran into Levi earlier this year at the NFL Combine," per an X post of Jon Scott, Sports Director of WGRZ. "He’s working to become an agent and already linked with Legacy Trust Sports Group, owned by former [Baltimore] Ravens and [New York] Jets LB CJ Mosley."
Brasky of Sports Illustrated noted that Wallace earned more than $13.5M over seven NFL seasons, a notable milestone given that an average NFL player's career lasts only 3.3 years.
With his proven NFL experience, Wallace now appears ready to turn that knowledge into a new career representing players.
