One of the best offenses from last season has been touted to repeat their heroics this year, and it will be thanks to George Pickens and CeeDee Lamb.

Romell Williams of Athlon Sports projected the Cowboys receiving tandem to become the NFL’s best receiving duo in the 2026 season, after Pickens' breakout season last year.

“Defenses already struggle to contain CeeDee Lamb by himself,” Romell Williams of Athlon Sports wrote. “Adding George Pickens’ ability to win contested catches and stretch the field, and Dallas suddenly has one of the league’s most dangerous passing attacks. If Dak Prescott stays healthy and this duo does as well, opposing defenses will have no easy answers yet again.”

Lamb posted 75 receptions for 1,077 receiving yards and three touchdowns for 14 games played, while Pickens recorded 93 receptions for 1,429 receiving yards and nine touchdowns in 2025. Pickens posted career-high numbers and showed versatility in playing as a slot weapon during Lamb’s absence due to injury.

“Lamb eclipses 1,400 receiving yards while Pickens tops 1,200-1,300, making them the first Cowboys receiving tandem since the franchise’s glory days to both post truly elite numbers in the same season,” Romell Williams of Athlon Sports wrote in his article.

Lamb recorded the highest deep route percentage (19.7%), posting 12 deep receptions (second-highest) in his career and one deep touchdown, according to the NFL’s Next Gen Stats.

Williams believes that Pickens could have a "monster" season, noting that the franchise tag gives him extra motivation to boost his resume before negotiating his next contract either with the Cowboys or in free agency.

One NFL analyst believes Pickens' emergence will help Lamb deliver another standout season in 2026.

Matthew Holleran projects Lamb to 1,650 yards and All-Pro honors

Matthew Holleran of Blogging The Boys believes Lamb had an "extremely productive" season last year and is expected to replicate his 2023 production along with Pickens, as a dynamic duo.

"The threat of Lamb’s game-breaking ability helped set up Pickens for tons of success, and the two cemented themselves as the best wide receiver duo in football last season," Matthew Holleran of Blogging The Boys wrote in his article. "As teams have now become aware of what George Pickens is capable of, Lamb is only going to get more opportunities, making Dallas’ offense even harder to slow down."

He projected Lamb to record 1,650 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns, earning a First-Team All-Pro honor.

Holleran believes Pickens' emergence will help Lamb reestablish himself as the Cowboys' top receiver and enter the NFL Offensive Player of the Year conversation in 2026.
