Preseason football is almost here, and so are the road trips. Fans are snapping up tickets and reserving hotel rooms, but not every NFL stop costs the same. Here's how the numbers compare before kickoff.

When is NFL preseason 2026?

After the 2026 Hall of Fame game took place on Thursday between the Carolina Panthers and Arizona Cardinals, the NFL preseason will now start on August 13 and stretch through August 29.

Week 1

Ticket prices for Dallas Cowboys game

According to the schedule released by NFL.com, the Dallas Cowboys will play the defending-champion Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field in Seattle, WA.

According to Ticketmaster, ticket prices start at $42 for the away seats and range up to $762 for Row V, going above $1,000 for Row 1.

As of August 7, many seats have already been sold, and it is only a matter of time before the remaining ones are filled.

Hotel prices for the Cowboys vs. Seahawks game

Hotel prices may vary depending on the amenities, distance from the stadium, and the number of rooms booked. However, if you're looking for hotels closer to the stadium, these are some good options.

citizenM Seattle Pioneer Square: $247 per night

Courtyard by Marriott Seattle Downtown/Pioneer Square: $277 per night

Renaissance Seattle Hotel: $219 per night

W Seattle: $255 per night

Sheraton Grand Seattle: $264 per night

Well, if you're looking for inexpensive rooms, you can also look farther away from the stadium, where rates typically range from $65 to $100 per night.

What about the other games?

While ticket prices vary by city and game, most tickets start at around $15 and range from $450 to $750, depending on the package, with premium options that include lounge access and other perks.

Speaking of hotels, it's much the same story. Prices vary from city to city; however, on average, rooms closer to the stadium cost between $250 and $450 per night.
