CeeDee Lamb isn't shying away from the expectations surrounding the Dallas Cowboys this season. On a recent episode of the Downs 2 Business podcast, hosted by Josh Downs and fellow Cowboy Caleb Downs, the star wide receiver laid out exactly what opponents should expect walking into Dallas, and the standard he believes his team is setting for a 2026 Super Bowl run.
"It's going to be loud. You know what I'm saying? It's going to be rocking," Lamb said, laughing. "It's going to be lots of lights, fireworks. Get ready for that. They do the extra. I ain't going to lie."
Talking further, Lamb didn't deny the weight that comes with playing for the Cowboys, but he reframed it fast.
"I know it's a lot of pressure there. It is what it is," Lamb said in the Downs 2 Business podcast. "It ain't no pressure if you've already prepared and you've done everything that you feel like you needed to."

It was part warning, part pride. Lamb clearly sees the spectacle as a weapon. A home-field advantage he expects Dallas to lean on all season and into the postseason.
Lamb further made a bold statement about the Cowboys' offensive unit itself.
"I don't feel like there's no offense that you're going to see that's better than us, to be honest. To be bluntly honest."
There was no hedging in the delivery. Lamb clearly believes his team is operating on a different level than most of the league.
Lamb's comments offer a clear look inside the Cowboys' mindset heading into the season. For a franchise with real Super Bowl aspirations in 2026,
Lamb's message was simple: it's going to be loud, the bar is high, and Dallas is ready for all of it.
Cowboys Updated Roster Giving CeeDee Lamb Confidence
The Dallas Cowboys are hoping a busy offseason fixes what broke down in 2025, when the team finished 7-9-1 and missed the playoffs for a second straight year. The defense was the glaring problem, giving up a league-worst 511 points on the season.
Dallas responded by cleaning house on that side of the ball. The team fired defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus, replacing him with Christian Parker, then traded for pass rusher Rashan Gary and signed defensive backs Jalen Thompson, Cobie Durant, and P.J. Locke to rebuild the secondary.
In the 2026 draft, the Cowboys added safety Caleb Downs and edge rusher Malachi Lawrence in the first round, along with more defensive depth in later rounds and free agency.
The offense saw far fewer turnovers. Dallas placed the franchise tag on George Pickens and extended running back Javonte Williams, while Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, and the offensive line stayed largely intact, as per the updated 53-man roster published on Dallascowboys. com.
The plan is clear: fix the unit that cost them a season while protecting the continuity that already works. Whether it's enough plays out over the course of 2026.
Do you think Lamb's confidence in the Cowboys' offense is justified, or is he setting the bar too high before the season even gets going?
