As the Dallas Cowboys gear up for training camp in Oxnard, owner Jerry Jones has quietly finalized a major business transaction back in Frisco. Jones has continued expanding his influence through a significant real estate deal involving one of the Star's flagship office properties.
Jones’ real estate firm, Blue Star Land Services, has sold the 17 Cowboys Way Office building to Massachusetts-based Hobbs Brook Real Estate (HBRE), a direct real estate investment arm of FM Investments. The property boasts an 11-story, 313,417-square-foot Class A+ office tower located inside The Star District in Frisco.
“We are pleased to establish a presence in Texas with the acquisition of 17 Cowboys Way, a premier office asset within one of the country’s most dynamic mixed-use environments,” HBRE President and CEO Peter Gottlieb said in a press release, per Jack Hintze of Community Impact.

The purchase marks HBRE’s entry into the Texas market, as the firm specializes in the development and management of "Class A office space and corporate communities.”
“Frisco continues to emerge as a leading corporate destination, and this property—anchored by a high-quality tenant roster, strong occupancy and a differentiated amenity base—is well-positioned to deliver durable long-term performance,” Gottlieb said in a press release, per Jack Hintze of Community Impact.
The 17 Cowboys Way Office building is currently 98% leased to local tenants including Fifth Third Bank, McAfee, Wells Fargo, and Baker Tilly US. The building also features on-site amenities such as a fitness center, conference facilities, and outdoor gathering spaces.
Sanjay Chawla, FM Investments executive vice president and chief investment officer, said in the press release that the acquisition reflected their "continued focus on deploying patient capital into Class A+, well-located income-generating properties".
While Jones continues shaping the business side of the organization, the focus inside the locker room remains firmly on ending the franchise's Super Bowl drought.
Dak Prescott refuses to lower expectations for the Cowboys in 2026
The Cowboys quarterback, Dak Prescott, has made a bold claim of "Super Bowl or bust" for the 2026 season, emphasizing that anything less than that would be a disappointment.
"That's the one thing I love about the Cowboys nation and being a player of the Cowboys is, it's Super Bowl or bust," Prescott said during a virtual meet-and-greet, per Tommy Yarrish of DallasCowboys.com. "And truthfully, that's the only reason you play this game. So absolutely, we're working every day for it."
Prescott wore a Super Bowl XXX championship shirt while boarding the plane to Oxnard, commemorating the Cowboys' last Super Bowl win in the 1995 season.
With the Cowboys entering the 2026 season after a major overhaul in defense, Prescott believes the team has one mission: to turn its Super Bowl aspirations into reality.
