The Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson teamed up with Under Armour to promote the brand's UA HeatGear apparel. He featured in a lighthearted training video that caught the attention of his wife, former Miami Hurricanes player Haley Cavinder.

"Go ahead," the Under Armour Instagram caption read on August 14. "Let your mind wander. UA Vanish eliminates all other distractions.”

The video showed Ferguson working through a combination of single-arm landmine shoulder presses and lunges when he appeared to get distracted while thinking about Cavinder. The video was soon filled with comments by fans loving the reference.

The former college basketball player joined in on the fun as well, as she playfully reminded Ferguson to stay focused during his workout.

"Keep your head in the game," Cavinder's comment read under the brand's Instagram post.

This is not the first time Under Armour's advertisements have focused on fun moments involving the couple.

Ferguson and Cavinder had previously partnered with the brand for a promotional campaign titled "Til Sweat Do Us Part," which was launched as part of the brand's Problems Love Company video series.

In the series, the couple used competitive workouts to settle wedding day disagreements, such as choosing a red velvet tuxedo for Ferguson or a live band versus a DJ for their reception, according to Under Armour's Instagram post on June 15.

Ferguson and Cavinder's playful Under Armour collaboration offered another glimpse of their growing presence as a sports couple. On the field, however, Ferguson will now turn his focus toward a crucial 2026 season with the Cowboys.

Connor Livesay of Blogging The Boys believes Ferguson has taken over the conversation of being the breakout player in the tight end unit. He believed that the Cowboys TE has redeemed himself during the training camp after a disappointing 2025 campaign.

Ferguson recorded a career-low of 7.3 yards per reception in the 2025 season, down from his best of 10.7 in the 2023 season.

"Through the first weeks of training camp, Ferguson has been one of the better players on the offensive side of the football," Connor Livesay of Blogging The Boys wrote in his article on August 9. "Not only does Ferguson look like he’s picking up where he left off in terms of touchdowns in 2025, he is also making a lot of plays up the seams and in the intermediate-to-deep portions of the field."

Livesay also noted that Ferguson stood out in the camp by multiple touchdowns and making "multiple big plays in team period work."

With Breyvn Spann-Ford and rookie Michael Trigg providing depth behind Ferguson, the veteran TE could benefit from the defense focusing on wide receivers CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens. It could give him a chance to post a career-best number in 2026.
