Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones has praised his players during the ongoing training camp. Jones, who considers himself the ultimate NFL fan, said his players' dedication made him feel like they're already playing in the Super Bowl.

Jones has been one of the most experienced figures in the league's executive ranks, having owned the Cowboys since 1989. Appearing on the Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams, Jones stated that his players have been practicing passionately.

"I bought the Cowboys that there wasn't anybody in the world who appreciated being a part of the NFL anymore than I do," Jones said. "They understand they could change the lives of everybody that loves them, that they love, or that they're going to love. They can do it if they'll make every practice play like they were playing the Super Bowl."

Jones' statement this on August 13 episode of the Up & Adams Show, reflected the trust he has in his players. The Cowboys have been displaying excellent form in the training camp, which began on July 29..

Recently, their defense dominated the Los Angeles Rams during their scrimmage practice on August 11.

Cowboys stars like linebacker Justin Barron and left tackle Tyler Guyton stole the show, leaving the Rams frustrated. Shemar James, Donovan Ezeiruaku, Isaiah Land, and Quinnen Williams all recorded sacks.

Jones not only praised his team for showing passion for the league, but also pointed out his love for the team.

Jerry Jones does not leave the Cowboys alone even for a bit

Having owned the Cowboys for 37 years, Jones' love for the game has only increased through the years.

When Adams asked Jones about his involvement as an owner, pointing out that he was a billionaire who could travel whenever he wanted, the 83-year-old had a pleasing answer for Cowboys fans.

"Well, I know, and don't get me wrong, those are nice places to be," Jones said in the same interview. "But I'd be sitting there pining away to be where I really want to be, my baby, uh, the Dallas Cowboys. I go out here; I'm with the team, have good days of practice; I see players. I say, 'Boy, let's get in, have a good night, get ready to go again.'"

Jones' passion for the game has been one of the most admirable things in the NFL. Jones is now focused on winning another Super Bowl for the Cowboys after winning three times in 1992, 1993, and 1995.

The Cowboys continue their training camp, running until August 21 at the River Ridge playing fields in Oxnard.
