Tom Brady participated in Netflix's “The Roast of Kevin Hart” and cracked some jokes on the Dallas Cowboys fanbase. According to an NFL Analyst those jokes won't sit well with owner Jerry Jones.
On the Arena Gridiron segment, Skip Bayless discussed Brady’s comments and how the reaction could escalate in the NFL. He specifically mentioned the possibility of how Jones would not like it.
"Trust me on this, Jerry Jones did not love that," Bayless said. “The big guns over at FOX, they’re gonna get a call today from Jerry Jones expressing his displeasure with a gratuitous shot at Cowboys fans.”
Bayless explained that the Cowboys fans are anything but "frontrunners." The fanbase thrives on keeping the hope alive for winning the big game every year.
The Cowboys haven't won a Super Bowl or even played in a conference title game in three decades. So, the joke holds no meaning, per Bayless.
Considering the circumstances, Bayless fears that Brady, who signed a 10-year $375 million contract as an analyst, might get a phone call from the head of FOX.
Bayless also mentioned that he knows this because he has worked for FOX for about 8 years in the past.
During the roast, Brady commented on how delusional the Cowboys fans are.
“It looks like we actually have some real Eagles fans here. Yeah. Not like Kevin, who only shows up with the big games when the Eagles are playing well. You know, Kev, we actually have a name for those people. They’re called Cowboys fans,” Brady said.
Bayless seems certain that Jerry Jones will take action and let the FOX Front Office know in the upcoming days.
That said, the league just announced the schedule for this season, and the Boys will host their divisional rivals on Thanksgiving.
The Dallas Cowboys Are All Set to Host the Eagles on Thanksgiving on FOX
The Dallas Cowboys will be hosting their rivals from the NFC East, the Philadelphia Eagles. The 2026 season will mark the 59th time Dallas has played on Thanksgiving.
But this will be the first time since 2014 that they will have the Eagles against them. Philadelphia and Dallas hold a 5-5 record since the 2021 season.
The Eagles will be stepping into AT&T Stadium on November 26 at 4:30 pm ET on FOX.
