One concern could stand between Dak Prescott and a Super Bowl run

The Cowboys have high hopes for the 2026 season, having a talented roster and an experienced quarterback in Dak Prescott. Still, one position group could decide whether Dallas can make a deep playoff run or not.

That question is on the interior of the offensive line. Dallas is expected to rely on young players in key spots, and their performance could have a big impact on the offense throughout the season.

"The Cowboys' interior offensive line still carries more uncertainty,” Enzo Flojo wrote, “Than a true Super Bowl contender would prefer."

Enzo Flojo of ClutchPoints shared that view while reviewing the Cowboys' roster. In his analysis, he pointed to the uncertainty on the interior offensive line as one of the biggest concerns for Dallas before the new season.

The concern centers around Cooper Beebe and Tyler Booker. Beebe is expected to start at center, while Booker is likely to take over at right guard. Both will have to deal with some of the NFL's toughest defensive linemen.

Both players will have bigger roles this season, and Dallas will need them to settle in quickly. Their progress could also help Prescott, who completed 404 of 600 passes for 4,552 yards and 30 touchdowns in 2025 while posting a 99.5 passer rating.

A good interior line would give Prescott more time to operate, which is exactly what Dallas needs from its offense. If that group settles in early, the Cowboys will have a much better chance of playing the way they want.

Dallas added players like Rashan Gary, Caleb Downs and Jalen Thompson this offseason, giving the roster more depth. Even so, the questions on the interior offensive line have not gone away.

If the interior line struggles, more pressure will fall on Prescott.

Can Dak Prescott overcome pressure in 2026?

Last season gave the Cowboys another reason to trust Prescott after he finished No. 1 in PFF grade, completion rate and passing yards under pressure.

It was another strong season for Prescott. Across his career, he has completed 66.9% of his passes for 35,989 yards and 243 touchdowns.

Dallas has leaned on that level of production for years, and it will expect the same in 2026. The interior offensive line remains a concern heading into the new season.

Even so, Prescott has shown he can keep the offense moving when protection is not ideal. That ability could become even more important if Dallas faces problems up front.

Do you think Prescott can help the Cowboys overcome this weakness? Let us know in the comments.
