Recently, former Dallas Cowboys quarterback and Super Bowl champion Bernie Kosar revealed that his precious championship ring was stolen. So, he appealed to Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to help him get another Super Bowl ring.

Pro Bowl star and former champion Kosar recently appeared on The Sage Steele Show podcast. While discussing his 1993 Super Bowl XXVIII win, the former quarterback revealed that he no longer had the physical souvenir.

"I lost it, so I can't wear it," Kosar said on August 12. "And Jerry, I'm going to be calling you because it got stolen. I'm going to be calling you for another one, bro. So, please help me out again."

On The Sage Steele Show on August 13, Kosar recalled how he signed with the Cowboys in November 1993, after being released by the Cleveland Browns. While he featured in only six games for the Cowboys, two of them happened to be in the playoffs.

The former QB first appeared in the NFC Championship Game on January 23, 1994, against the San Francisco 49ers after Troy Aikman suffered a concussion.

The Cowboys won that game 38-21. He also featured in the 30-13 Super Bowl win against the Buffalo Bills on January 30, 1994.

Kosar completed five of nine passes for 83 yards in the playoffs, including a 42-yard touchdown pass to Alvin Harper, which became crucial in the NFC Championship Game.

While Kosar wants Jones to help him relive past glory, Jones is looking ahead to the 2026 season in hopes of another Super Bowl win.

Jerry Jones eyes another Super Bowl after years of drought

The franchise's 1995 Super Bowl win had been the last championship win that the Cowboys had under their belt. But Jerry Jones wants to change that this year.

"Well, first of all, we’ve been close [to winning a championship], in my opinion, several times, and we didn’t get there,” Jones told the media on August 2. “So the odds are it’s going to come up more than it’s not going to come up in my mind."

However, the Cowboys' chances this season will become clearer after they play the reigning champions, the Seattle Seahawks, in the first preseason game on August 15. Ahead of the game, Jones wants the younger guys to step up and entertain the fans.

"We're going to, of course, be playing a lot of our guys that haven't played, and I'm looking forward to that," Jones said on August 12, according to the Dallas Cowboys. "I've always thought that for fans, they were a real treat to just look at the evaluation of the younger guys as they go out."

The Cowboys have not qualified past the Divisional round for the last 13 seasons. They have won three Super Bowls up to now, in the 1992, 1993, and 1995 seasons.

Do you think the Dallas Cowboys will make it to the Super Bowl this season and fulfill Jones' desire to secure another Super Bowl? Let us know in the comments.
