The Dallas Cowboys quarterback is in the news yet again, and reports are emerging about the details of why his wedding was cancelled.

Reports state that Sarah Jane Ramos gave the Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott a monogamy ultimatum in January over alleged ongoing inappropriate messages to other women. 

Prescott reportedly did not comply, and Ramos called off their wedding. 

This update was reported on the NY Post earlier. The former couple was supposed to get married on April 10 in Lake Como, Italy. TMZ has also obtained an email that the former couple sent out to the guests notifying them that the wedding is off. 

The email read, “As many of you know, our wedding is currently scheduled to take place in Lake Como, Italy, on Friday, April 10, 2026. It is with heavy hearts that we privately inform our attendees that we have made the very difficult decision to cancel our wedding. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, and we welcome your prayers.” 

What rumor did Sarah Jane Ramos respond to?

On March 9th, Sarah Jane Ramos commented on a reel after she noticed the Speakeasy Podcast hosts speculated about what might have led to the former couple’s breakup. 

The comment read, “This had nothing to do with a prenup. I hope we can put that rumor to rest now.” 

The focus now for the former couple is their kids and co-parenting them. The former couple shares two daughters between them. 

As per one of Ramos’s representatives, “There wasn’t any rockiness in the lead up, and there was no big argument or blow up. It was a mutual decision... They love their girls, and they’re committed to raising their children together in the most loving and positive way. It’s still shocking for them since this happened so recently, and they ask for privacy while they sort everything out.”
