More than 70,000 people watched Super Bowl LX between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

However, the former Dallas Cowboys' wide receiver and NFL legend, Michael Irvin, was displeased by the event.

He criticized the event organisers, saying this was a “horrible” Super Bowl and that they should not bring back the Super Bowl to San Francisco again.

Speaking in a YouTube video on his channel, he said, “This was a horrible Super Bowl. They should never ever, ever, ever bring the Super Bowl back to San Francisco. … It was ‘blah’ in the city, you know what I mean? It just wasn’t jumping.”

He also said the traffic downtown was bad and that he couldn’t even go down the street.

“The people, ‘blah.’ The buildings out here looked ‘blah.’ When you go into events, it was ‘blah,’” he further added. “I’m thinking there should be so much money out here because the tech is out here, right? But it all looks so ‘blah’.  “Damn! It’s, I believe, the worst Super Bowl I’ve ever gone to, and I’m talking about just seeing how the city rocks and everything.”

Michael Irvin was part of the legendary Cowboys team in the 90s that won three Super Bowls. It’s also to be noted that his team had a long-standing rivalry with the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championships, whose home stadium is Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, where Super Bowl LX was held.

This is the first time the Super Bowl has been held in San Francisco since 2015.

SoFi Stadium to host Super Bowl LXI

The Super Bowl is coming to Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, the home of the Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Chargers.

This Super Bowl will also have a broadcast change, with ESPN acquiring the rights for the broadcast along with ABC.

It’s going to be a blockbuster next few years for Los Angeles, with the city set to also host the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the 2028 Olympics.

The officials in LA are excited. Kathryn Schloessman, president and CEO of the Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission, said, "We have this incredible opportunity to showcase our city through the world’s biggest events.”

Who do you think will be playing at the SoFi Stadium next year? Let us know in the comments.
