Dallas Cowboys linebacker DeMarvion Overshown celebrated a major personal milestone, with fans overjoyed as he entered a new phase in life.

Overshown officially tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Alexis Babino at the Villa in Tyler, Texas. He missed the start of the Cowboys' OTAs session because he had wedding activities to attend to ahead of the big day.

“Everybody knows the work I do comes with a lot of outside opinions, outside drama, and a whole lot of stress,” Overshown said, per CBS19Tv. “That little hurt doesn't hurt as much when you get to come home to a wife, a queen.”

The couple shares two kids - DeMarvion Jr (3 years) and Texas Lee Overshown (1 year), and have been engaged since March 2025, based on Babino’s Instagram page.

Babino shared that getting married in their hometown, East Texas, is like a ‘full circle’ moment, as they wanted to celebrate the happy occasion with close friends and family.

The Cowboys coaching staff - head coach Brian Schottenheimer, linebackers coach Scott Symons, and tight ends coach Lunda Wells attended the ceremony.

Overshown’s former teammate from the University of Texas and Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson, along with former Cowboys and New York Jets defensive tackle Mazi Smith, attended the wedding.

After suffering a season-ending ACL, MCL, and PCL injury in Week 14 of the 2024 season, Overshown credited Babino for helping him through the tough rehab process and lowest moments post-surgery.

'She stepped right into that role, and it wasn't uncomfortable to me; it wasn't forward," Overshown said, per CBS19TV. "You showed me that you can put me before yourself, that's all I need to know."

While Overshown called himself ‘a brand new man’ after his wedding, fans responded with a mix of well-wishes and humorous warnings for the newlywed.

Overshown Receives Outpouring of Support From Fans

Overshown said he was already feeling a ‘times 10 aura' after saying 'I do.' But fans couldn't resist having a little fun while also sending their best wishes to the newlywed couple.

One fan reminded him to land a Super Bowl ring this season, along with the wedding ring.

“Time to get another ring."

Another fan humorously warned him about the risk of getting injured while dancing with his wife at the reception.

“Let’s hope he doesn’t throw his hip out and shows up on the PUP list."

Many fans conveyed their best wishes for the couple’s well-being and happiness.

“Congratulations to a fantastic dude! May their marriage be full of love, laughter, and good health."

One fan was happy that their 'Agent 0' was settling down and expressed their excitement for him.

“Congratulations to Agent Zero."

Another fan intentionally brought up the NFC East divisional rivalry with the Philadelphia Eagles.

“Congratulations! 7-11 #gobirds."

Despite the playful teasing, fans were largely happy to see the linebacker move into a new phase in his life.
