The Dallas Cowboys' star quarterback, Dak Prescott, had a successful 2025 season professionally. But currently, his personal life has taken a hit after a split with his fiancée. Helping him during this period, Dallas head coach Brian Schottenheimer is right there with him.
“Dak and I have had a ton of conversations. He’s in a really good spot. Obviously, what he’s dealing with is incredibly tough. But if anyone can handle it, he can,” said Schottenheimer.
The star quarterback has been in the headlines recently for reasons not related to football. According to the reports, Prescott and Sarah Jane Ramos had ended their relationship and called off the wedding.
Prescott and his former fiancée planned to marry next month on April 10 in Lake Como, Italy. But they have canceled the wedding after reportedly having an argument at their joint bachelorette parties in the Bahamas. Since then, neither party has confirmed the reason for the cancellation yet.
“It is with heavy hearts that we privately inform our attendees that we have made the very difficult decision to cancel our wedding," read the email that the former couple sent to their prospective guests.
Prescott and Jane made it official in November 2023, when she wore a Cowboys jacket while celebrating her 30th birthday. In October 2024, Dak proposed to Jane at a golf course, hiding the ring in the golf ball and going down on his knees during the game.
So, their split is not something the football world was prepared for.

Michael Irvin, the former three-time Super Bowl winner and Dallas Cowboys legendary wide receiver, made a post on X, sending his love to the quarterback.
“Praying for My guy @Dak and his beautiful family (three praying emojis)," he wrote, sharing a picture of himself with Prescott and Dallas GM Jerry Jones.
Veteran NFL reporters Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson also showed their support via their podcast, Calm Down with Erin and Charissa.
“He’s (Dak Prescott) been there (Dallas Cowboys) over a decade. And he is a fantastic person on and off the field. He is a class act. He had been through hell and back in his personal life,” said Charissa.
Last season, Prescott relished the fame, surpassing Tony Romo's passing yards record of 34,183. This offseason, he thought of stepping into a new chapter in his personal life and getting back to the gridiron stronger. But the universe had other plans.
